NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Matt Brandau, who had two goals and three assists in Yale's 15-13 victory over No. 1 Denver on Sunday, has earned his second Ivy League Offensive Player of the Week honor.
Brandau's second goal of the day snapped a 13-13 tie early in the fourth quarter and was the game winner. Four of his five points came in the second half.
Brandau leads the team in assists (16) and points (27) and leads the nation in points per game (6.75) and is second in assists per game (4.0).
Jack Stuzin, who had two caused turnovers and one ground ball to help lead the defense, was named to the Ivy League Honor Roll.
The Bulldogs (3-1) play their Ivy opener on Saturday, hosting Harvard at 1 p.m.
